I am a New Media Manager with over 13 years experience across the UK and South Africa. My experience includes consultancy & delivery of: interaction & interface design, emarketing & eCRM solutions, effective design & business process flow, compelling multi channel user experience as well business case & proposition development. I have worked with organisations of various sizes from boutique start-ups through to blue chip corporations and at various stages of their product lifecycle development. Solutions have been delivered across multiple sectors including: Broadcast Communications, Hardware, Furniture, Insurance, Leisure/Travel, Music, Public Relations, Publishing, Personal Banking, Property, Software, Recruitment and Telecoms. On platforms such as TV, Internet, Intranet, Applications, Mobile as well as Print. I lead teams as well as work within teams of varying experience levels. |
In my leisure time I dabble with visual and internet software, exploring creative possibilities. I have good working knowledge of many off & on line software products to advanced level and have advised teams on best practise workflow & use. I enjoy the outdoors, travelling, extreme and water sports. I actively support deep sea conservation and am a member of both PADI project AWARE and the Cousteau Society. I am an avid amateur photographer. I have been fortunate to have my photos used in reference publications and for advertising purposes. I have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of cinema from the last 30 years which is handy as I support independent film and when the opportunity arises indulge in film producing. I also have a collection of rare and valuable comics. I occasionally play console games and was at one time rated 17 worldwide in Ghost Recon (Sniper Mode). |
